Speak Hindi naturally through immersive lessons focused on Bollywood dialogue, daily expressions, and the cultural richness of modern India.
Speak natural Punjabi with confidence — for diaspora learners reconnecting with grandparents, partners marrying into Punjabi families, and culture lovers.
Master conversational English for work, study, immigration, or daily communication — taught by a native with deep knowledge of South Asian learners.
Three feelings I hear from every student who walks into their first lesson — and the exact way we turn each one around.
Most language courses force you to learn the script and grammar before you ever say a word. I do the opposite — and it works.
Read Urdu, Hindi or Punjabi using English letters from lesson one. You can always learn the original script later — but you'll be speaking in week one.
Every lesson uses dialogues you'll actually face — calling family, ordering food in Lahore, attending a Pakistani or Indian wedding, watching a Bollywood film.
Idioms, slang, gestures, Sufi poetry from Bulleh Shah, Iqbal's ghazals — the cultural texture that turns "speaking the language" into "feeling at home."
Your journey from "I can't speak it" to "I'm having real conversations" is just a few clicks away. Most students take their first lesson within 24 hours of booking.

Everything you need to know before your first lesson.
I teach four languages: Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi (both Gurmukhi and Shahmukhi scripts), and English. Each lesson is customized to your goals — whether you're a complete beginner, an intermediate speaker brushing up, or an advanced learner refining accent and cultural nuance.
No — not at all. I use full Romanised transliteration from lesson one, meaning Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi words are written in English letters so you can read and pronounce them immediately. You can learn the original script (Nastaliq for Urdu, Devanagari for Hindi, Gurmukhi or Shahmukhi for Punjabi) later if you wish — but it's never a barrier to speaking.
All lessons are 1-on-1 and live, conducted via video call. Most students book through Preply, which provides a built-in virtual classroom with screen share, chat and lesson recordings. WhatsApp video is also available for students who prefer it. Lessons are typically 30, 45 or 60 minutes.
Absolutely — beginners are most of my students. I welcome learners of all levels, from absolute zero (never spoken a word) to advanced speakers looking to polish accent, idioms or business fluency. The first trial lesson is designed exactly to assess your level and build a custom roadmap.
It depends on your goals and practice frequency, but here's what most students experience: basic family conversations in 2–3 months with 2 lessons per week, confident everyday speaking by month 4–6, and cultural fluency including idioms and accent by month 9–12. Heritage learners often progress faster because they have passive listening exposure from childhood.
Spoken Urdu and Hindi (sometimes called Hindustani) are mutually intelligible — about 80%+ of everyday vocabulary overlaps. The major differences are: (1) script — Urdu uses Nastaliq (right-to-left), Hindi uses Devanagari (left-to-right); (2) formal vocabulary — Urdu draws more from Persian and Arabic, Hindi from Sanskrit. If you learn one well, you'll understand most of the other. I teach both and can help you bridge between them.
Yes — many of my students are diaspora children whose parents want them to learn the heritage language. I work with kids aged 6 and up, with patient, engaging lessons that use stories, songs, family vocabulary and fun activities to make the language feel alive rather than like homework.
Both. Punjabi has two scripts: Gurmukhi (used in Indian Punjab and the Sikh tradition) and Shahmukhi (used in Pakistani Punjab). I teach either based on your background and goals — and most students start in Romanised Punjabi so they can speak immediately, then choose a script later if they want to read or write.
Yes — and you absolutely should. Book a 30-minute trial lesson on Preply to experience my teaching style, discuss your goals, and decide if we're a good fit. The trial is risk-free and gives you a real taste of how lessons feel. No long-term contracts, ever.
My calendar is open to students in 50+ countries, including all major time zones in North America (EST, CST, PST), Europe (GMT, CET), Middle East (GST), South Asia (PKT, IST), Australia (AEDT), and East Asia (SGT). Schedule a lesson at a time that suits you — Preply shows your local time automatically.
Both work. Most students book through Preply for the structured calendar, secure payment and built-in classroom. Some prefer to WhatsApp me directly first to discuss goals before booking. Either way, the trial lesson process is the same — message me on WhatsApp if in doubt and I'll guide you through it.
Because language is connection. I've taught for over 10 years and watched students cry on Zoom calls after speaking to their grandmother in Urdu for the first time. I've helped non-desi spouses give wedding speeches in Punjabi. I've helped Bollywood fans finally understand the lyrics they've sung along to for years. Language bridges hearts — and helping people build those bridges is what I love.
Join 1,000+ students across 50+ countries who've transformed their ability to connect with family, culture, and community through Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi and English. Message me on WhatsApp and we'll plan your first conversation together — your grandmother, your in-laws, your kids, your dreams are waiting.
